Catherine Jones Figueroa

DNP, FNP-C

Catherine is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Catherine is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience working in Primary Care and Family Medicine. She is passionate about providing quality care and values her relationships with colleagues and patients alike. Catherine was born and raised in a small town in Central Massachusetts. After graduating from Boston University, she spent six years living in Quito, Ecuador where she worked in medical education and developed a love for Ecuadorian food and culture. Her desire to become an NP brought her back to Massachusetts where she completed her studies at the Graduate School of Nursing at UMass Medical School. After graduating, Catherine immediately started working as an NP where she met Simone DeOliveira, a fellow NP colleague, who turned into a dear friend and ultimately, business partner. Catherine strives to bring joy to her patients through attentiveness, patience, and a touch of humor. She believes that quality primary care is the backbone of a healthy community. She dedicates the time with each patient so that together, they can develop a unique plan of care. Above all, she believes that the simple things in life, the things we do everyday, are the things that have the biggest impact on our health. Outside of B2B, Catherine teaches part-time at the UMass Graduate School of Nursing. Catherine treasures her home and family life. She has a great love of coffee and dessert, and when she’s not enjoying either of those, can be found at the gym, walking her dog or traveling.

Simone De Oliveira

MS, FNP-BC

Simone is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Masters of Science of Nursing. Simone is fluent in Portuguese and has been working in Primary Care and Family Medicine for over 20 years. Her professional career began as a Medical Assistant and she worked her way towards her NP license in 2017. Simone was born and raised in an underserved, remote village in Northeastern Brazil. She feels extremely blessed for the opportunity to relocate to the US in 1998 where her lifelong nursing career would begin. Simone has served the Greater Lowell community in various roles throughout the years. Her journey began as an Administrative Assistant in Primary Care. Through hard work and enormous dedication, Simone worked her way towards her NP license while maintaining her full time work and raising a family. Simone uses her humble beginnings as a source of inspiration and passion in her work. She shares her gratitude for life with her patients by empowering them to take control of their physical and emotional health. She focuses on building a strong and trustworthy relationship with each of her patients in order to help them navigate their most vulnerable moments. She will always greet you with a smile and believes that medicine can be a great remedy when used wisely. Outside of B2B, Simone enjoys spending time with her family. When she is not working or hosting a party, she can be found exercising, reading, or trying out a new recipe.
